About Catalyst
Catalyst Metals (ASX:CYL) is an Australian gold producer with a dominant landholding in three prolific Australian gold belts.
In Western Australia, the Company has consolidated the Plutonic Gold Belt, bringing together high grade mineral resources and existing mining & processing infrastructure.
The consolidated project has brought together the operating Plutonic Gold Mine and infrastructure, and high-grade undeveloped gold deposits along the Marymia belt. These deposits have the potential to be mined and processed through the currently underutilised processing facilities at Plutonic.
In the first nine month period since consolidation, the optimised mine plan has resulted in higher production rates and lower operating costs.
In Tasmania, the Company owns and operates the Henty Gold Mine, a project with a rich history.
Over 1.4Moz of gold grading 9.0g/t Au has been produced from Henty to date. With low power costs and high grades, the Henty Gold Mine has the foundations of a low-cost producer with plans in place to increase production to over 40koz per annum.
The Bendigo Gold Project in Victoria lies directly to the north of the Bendigo Goldfields where over 22Moz of gold has been produced historically.
At the Four Eagles Project, the Company has identified high-grade ‘stacked’ mineralisation similar to the Bendigo goldfields, with the Iris Zone recently returning a mineral resource grading 26g/t Au. Catalyst aims to build on the high-grades of its projects to build a mid-tier Australian gold producer.
